The only nice thing I have to say is the front desk staff and dental assistants are beyond kind. But this place completely tortured me for three months. We only went here because they merged with Dr. Pinzon, but I will never step foot in here again. I went in for a cleaning and was found to have two cavities, one on the top and one on the bottom. I went in the following week to have them fixed. I had to return 10 days later because I was still in pain. They had chipped a previous filling and the two cavities they “fixed” needed to be redone. Still in pain, I returned two weeks later. The filling on the bottom had to be fixed again. A week later I had to go back because I couldn’t floss between my two bottom teeth. A few days later I went back because there was a sharpness cutting my tongue. And two weeks after that I went back again for the fillings to be fixed and scored myself an antibiotic in the process since an abscess then formed. I got relief for about a week and then had to go back about a week after I had some relief because I was unable to chew without pain shooting up to my temple and down my neck. They put a temporary cap on me to give it time to heal, then I would return two weeks later to have it fixed again. The cap was on less than three hours, I brushed my teeth and it began peeling off. I called and left a voicemail since it was after hours. I got a call back in the morning to be seen in their Red Bank office. I declined and chose to travel to Maryland to have my family member handle this. Because I’d rather take the day of no pay and travel out of my way to get relief then have this place ever touch me again. Luckily my family member has finally given me the relief I have needed and I can chew on the right side without wanting to cry and I am pain free. I’m not sure if it is lack of care/compassion or incompetence with this place but it was HELL. My husband also made a post about my torture that they deleted. Now that I had time to process everything I decided to make a review and I will be taking this to social media and the dental board.

My whole family have been patients of Bright Smile for several years The Doctors and Staff are very caring, friendly, and compassionate. The office has a family atmosphere. My elderly Mother is given extra care as she being treated which makes her feel calm. Thank you for being in our town!!

I'm really grateful for this practice. Dr. Lezhanksy has a very nice office. I'm also grateful that my father gets to work here. The couple of visits I've seen hygienist Katie Jacobs. Honestly an incredible job she's done for me -- truly. Dentistry is like art work, and if you become a master at your craft then it shows. Brittney is very nice at the front desk too. I've also noticed that with the work done on getting a lot of built up plaque off my gums, that my teeth are showcasing out more. Thank you Bright Smile! 😬 😁

Usually it is a great cleaning by the hygenists, I've been there at least three other times without a problem. Today however the dentist did the cleaning instead of the hygienist and it was AWFUL, so awful I felt the need to write this review. (I couldn't find his name on their website but an older, plumper man from the Howell location). There was no precision in the cleaning, nor was a mirror used to see what he was doing behind the teeth. The water pick injured my gums in multiple places, even somehow the roof of my mouth. I tasted blood after and they are still sore hours later. I've never had that problem before. He was just shooting it all over and not even trying to be precise. Same with the polisher/toothpaste. It was haphazard, got everywhere, and yet wasn't thorough at all (some teeth he got but others felt like they were skipped over).  For floss, I have tight teeth and usually they take care not to push too hard and slip and hit the gum hard... he did not. Rough and hit the gum hard when he did get the floss in, which hurt. Then I guess he gave up flossing and said "tight contact". Hygienists have told me this before, but never had that problem when they take their time and go easy.  Not to mention some of the time his large stomach was against my head which was super uncomfortable and borderline inappropriate.  I won't be going back to this practice and that doctor shouldn't be doing cleanings. I feel like my child could have done a better job.
