I have had dentist experiences in the past that have made me feel so anxious and stressed, but this office is the literal definition of peace of mind. Dr. Coriglioano and his dental hygienist are so kind and reassuring. They actively listened to my concerns, checked everything I asked to check, and checked in consistently as they did my filling. They also did my filling same day, and it was the quickest appointment ever and absolutely painless. I have never been so relaxed at a dental appointment before. Everyone was also very funny and friendly which helped me feel comfortable too. I appreciate an office that cares about its people and patients, and especially for those of us who are very anxious. ☺️

On 12/8/2025, I finally confronted a long-overdue issue that I had postponed for far too long. Dental concerns can make anyone feel vulnerable, embarrassed, or hesitant—and I am no exception. However, Dr. Robert Ashman and Dr. Helly Shah transformed that fear into confidence. After discussing my case together, they each played a significant role in giving me the opportunity to begin a new chapter in my life—one with a genuinely beautiful smile.

My experiences with Dr. Shah have always been marked by kindness, warmth, attentiveness, and unwavering professionalism. When it came time for my procedure with Dr. Ashman, I was both nervous and hopeful. What I did not expect was the level of compassion, patience, and reassurance he and his assistant (Natalie)would provide. The appointment evolved into a kind of counseling session—one neither of us realized we needed but both appreciated.

Dr. Ashman went above and beyond to meet my needs in every possible way. He did not simply perform a procedure; he created an environment where I felt genuinely seen, heard, and prioritized. He explained every step meticulously, answering each of my questions with clarity, patience, and respect. He ensured I fully understood the process, and he continually reaffirmed that my comfort was his highest priority. He double- and triple-checked that I would experience no pain, and his attention to detail gave me confidence throughout the entire procedure.

My procedure and the entire process took about 45 minutes. The stitches were so precisely and skillfully placed that when I went home and looked in the mirror, I joked to myself that he must have once been a seamstress. Despite everything he may have personally been carrying, he remained thoroughly professional, compassionate, and fully present. We even laughed together about “tongue toys” while he was securing the stitches—an unexpected moment of humor that made the experience even more memorable.

Dr. Ashman is truly one of the best to ever do it. He treated me as though he genuinely understood what it feels like to be in the patient’s position, and he showed empathy and expertise in equal measure. His assistant mirrored that same level of care and attentiveness, making the entire experience exceptional from beginning to end.

If you don’t come here, you are missing out on one extraordinary, life-changing experience. I recommend Dr. Ashman, and Dr. Shah wholeheartedly—and I would choose to go through this process again without hesitation. He is nothing short of amazing.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shah and the entire team at The Dental Center in Bloomfield. I needed major work done to my front teeth and had put it off for years because I was terrified of doing more harm than good. After moving to the area, I initially saw the team at The Dental Center just for a routine cleaning—and I’m so glad I did. That’s when I met Dr. Shah.

From the dental hygienist to Dr. Shah herself, everyone was amazing, kind, and reassuring. Dr. Shah took the time to really listen to all of my concerns and worked out a thoughtful treatment plan with me. We got everything done, including some other fillings I needed, and the results absolutely blew me away. My front teeth haven’t looked this good in years—I almost cried when I saw them.

Thank you so much, Dr. Shah, for your skill, patience, and for truly taking everything I said into consideration. I’m beyond grateful and finally feel confident about my smile again.

I am SO terrified of going to the dentist, I basically conceded to not using the right side of my entire mouth just to avoid a root canal. After some support from family, I reached out to the  Dental Center and set up an appointment with Dr. Corigliano. I cannot express well enough how pleasantly SHOCKED I am by my wonderful experience (never thought i'd say "wonderful" about a root canal). The entire process was ZERO pain. I mean zero; not even any pressure. Dr. Corigliano supported my anxiety disorder in giving me a Xanax beforehand (i'd run out of my own prescription) and the procedure was completed in less than an hour. The full staff here also work very collaboratively and seem to genuinely support one another with their various specialties and skills.
Sidenote- Dr. Corigliano also kills it with the dad jokes.

I sincerely felt like I left a med spa; my coworkers were shocked that I was back online for work the same day. If you're looking for a supportive dental experience, this is your place. I simply don't have time to leave reviews, but I had to for this one.

I have always had positive experiences with your dental center, but unfortunately today was an exception. I called the office requesting either a later appointment for today or to reschedule, as I was unable to leave work at the previously scheduled time. I work in law enforcement, and at times it is simply not possible for us to leave at a specific time due to the nature of our duties.
The receptionist I initially spoke with was understanding and informed me that she would speak to her supervisor, “Wendy.” However, when I was transferred to Wendy, her approach was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. The first thing she said was, “Hi, this is Wendy. I am not going to be able to change the appointment because it shows you canceled twice and it is unfair to Dr. Shah. We are going to charge you $100 because you canceled on us twice.”
What she did not acknowledge is that the first cancellation she referenced occurred in October of this year and that appointment was for my daughter, not for me. I would have been more than willing to clarify this if I had been given the opportunity. I also understand that cancellation fees exist for a reason, and I have never had an issue paying the $50 fee for either myself or my daughter when necessary.
What concerned me most was not the fee, but the tone and lack of professionalism. Rather than asking about the prior appointment or trying to understand the situation, I was met with rudeness and assumptions. It was disappointing, especially considering people often come to medical appointments already stressed or dealing with difficult days, something front-office staff should be mindful of.
Because of this interaction, I am very disappointed and will no longer be continuing my services with this office. It’s not what you say, but how you say it and today’s experience made that very clear.
