​I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My dog, Ollie, recently had a terrifying medical emergency after getting a hold of my albuterol inhaler. I was in a complete panic when I rushed him to the Emergency Animal & Urgent Care, and from the moment we burst through the doors, the staff was simply phenomenal.
​They immediately understood the gravity of the situation, whisking Ollie back for treatment without a moment's hesitation. The entire team, from the front desk staff to the vet techs and the veterinarian, was not only incredibly skilled and professional but also so compassionate. They kept me informed every step of the way, explaining the treatment plan clearly and patiently answering all of my anxious questions. They treated Ollie with such gentleness and expertise, but they also took care of me, offering reassurance during one of the scariest moments of my life as a pet owner.
​Thanks to their swift action and outstanding care, my sweet Ollie is now home and recovering safely. I am endlessly grateful for the kindness, knowledge, and sense of urgency this team demonstrated. In a moment of sheer terror, they were a beacon of calm and competence. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for saving my boy

If I could rate this place NO STARS I absolutely would. I felt completely disregarded the entire time. The first thing I was told was “oh we don’t want to take your money if you’re not going to pay for testing” just for them to tell me they wanted to test my dog for Parvo and marijuana when that’s CLEARLY not the problem here, it’s something neurological. She isn’t throwing up or has diarrhea. Shes eating and drinking normally and using the bathroom normal. And I told them there was absolutely no way she injested marijuana either. But still, after $185 just to be seen, they wanted me to spend another $280 on testing I KNEW she didn’t need. No, I’m not a vet. But I’ve had dogs my entire life and I know what parvo looks like because I’ve had to save multiple dogs before. And I know it’s not marijuana because she simply can’t get to it. At the end of the visit when I ASKED if they thought it was anything neurological… the only response they would give me is “oh it could be anything” and still implied that because I wouldn’t have her get unnecessary testing that there was nothing they could do. I would’ve HAPPILY paid for any other testing she necessary. When I called regular vets this morning and explained the situation… they were confused as to why they were pushing the parvo and marijuana test so hard because she has no symptoms ! I absolutely feel like they were profiling me and my mother in law and that’s why they pushed so hard for the marijuana test. I’m not sure who the girl at the front was with long black hair and sunken eyes… but she was INCREDIBLY rude and if i wasn’t there for my dog it would absolutely have been a problem. My mother in law and I literally stopped mid sentence and just looked at each other in awe because of how taken aback we were by her entire attitude. At the end of my visit, I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my discharge papers and there was another older couple with their dog, they treated them so much better ! Super professional and kind, which is what you would expect right? Right. I didn’t recieve that tho, they gave me the cold shoulder and made me feel as if they didn’t care about my dog because they assumed she was high. SHE IS STILL NOT OKAY !!!! It’s not weed and sure as hell isn’t parvo. I just wish they would’ve actually helped me. I should’ve known when the girl in the front told me they didn’t want to take my money if I wasn’t going to pay for testing that I should’ve just turned around and went to the hospital off Harris. They didn’t want to offer any other testing, just wanted parvo and marijuana.

On 11/28 (Friday) we arrived at 1015am with our kitty. She had a nasty cough that had gotten worse in the last 24 hours and the day before we noticed she was really breathing hard. We could watch her sides really go in as she was breathing. All this was told when we checked in.
Let's just say after waiting for 3 hours, they finally triaged her. Brought her back to us and said nothing. At 1830 my daughter took our cat and came home. Our cat was never seen! I understand that urgent cases come first, BUT every dog that came in before and after us was seen. The only other cats that were seen was 1 that was sent by another vet and 1 cat that hadn't ate or drank for a day. There was another lady there with a cat that had a possible broken paw and was never seen either. She waited 4 hours and left when we did.
We have been here 1 other time with no issues, but apparently they have something against cats here. Don't waste your time here!! The 1st shift ladies were pretty decent, but the 2nd shift ladies were rude and could have cared less about anything.

I called & told the receptionist that I have a 5 month old puppy that had green mucus on his right eye and now it’s in his left eye and if he could be seen and she replied “yes” I asked her what the fee would be and she said “$185 and this doesn’t include if he needs anything prescribed” which I was fine with. So my husband & I drove 25 minutes to the location. When we arrived I told the receptionist why I was there and she came around the counter and looked at the puppy and said “Do you have a veterinarian?” I replied “ No because we just got the puppy and I’ve only taken him for the vaccines and he just got neutered”. She then proceeds to say that he can’t be seen because it’s an emergency location and this is not an emergency. I then say that the sign outside says “urgent care” too. Then she said it’s an allergy and that she can give me phone numbers to veterinarians that can see him on Monday. I then said “ I can look online myself and find someone”. She diagnosed my puppy (I highly doubt she’s a veterinarian) over the counter. This is an urgent care and my puppy should have been seen. She said they could see my puppy and he wasn’t seen. There was only 2 other people waiting room. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

I brought my five-month-old Rottweiler, Freya, to this urgent care after she managed to cut her foot (because apparently chaos is her love language, seriously, her middle name is "deathwish." The staff were so kind, quick, and reassuring — not only to her, but to me, the mildly panicked dog mom. They immediately told me I was doing a great job, which was honestly the medicine I needed most.

They stayed calm while my hyperactive post-surgery puppy attempted parkour in the exam room, and somehow managed to assess her cut between her wiggles. In the end, they decided not to charge me since the wound was in an odd spot and any bandage would’ve come off anyway. They even artfully ignored the trail of tiny bloody paw prints across their waiting room floor like absolute professionals.

These are good people. I would 100% return the next time I spiral over my sweet, wild puppy.
